Project: Blood Angel Captain

This is one of my very first Space Marine Captains from the 1990's. I found this old picture on the internet of the blister set of officers, where this captain is the miniature in the middle.

The Base colors

So far I have given the miniature all the basecoats and this is some pictures of the progress so far:

The colors used for basecoloring is:

Primer: Army Painter Pure Red

Flesh:

Dwarf Flesh (Now: Ratskin Flesh)

Metal:

Abbadon Black with Leadbelcher on top

Power Sword:

Regal Blue (Now: Kantor Blue)

Hair:

Celestra Grey

Green:

Goblin Green (Now: Warboss Green)

Yellow:

Averland Sunset

Carroburg Crimson

Project: Blood Angel Terminator Squad

Another project coming up in the near future is my terminator squad.

Here I have also made a test model to find a painting scheme I like for the entire squad.

The first painted Terminator I have ever done =)

This is a old metal Blood Angel Terminator with a Heavy Flamer.. old style..

The paints used are more or less as follows:

Basecoat : Army painter red

All metallics painted Abbaddon Black

Head painted white

Project: Blood Angel Devastator Squad

I also have this project of painting up my Devastator squad which has already been assembled and awaiting the paintjob. I have tried to paint up the first of the devastators as seen on the pictures below. I do like the outcome so I guess I will make a step-by-step guide with the next marines - once I get to them :P

Project:Blood Angel Scout

I have had this scout since around 1990 i guess. And today i have finally painted it!! YAY :)

Anyway, this is the model (Picture found on the internet as i had already primed the model before taking Pictures):

Although i love the new sniper scouts i do really love the old ones too.. Some of them look really mean >:)
